Matterhorn Alpine Crossing
Set within a breathtaking alpine landscape, the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing offers the unforgettable experience of a journey through the majestic peaks of the Alps. Every moment will leave you speechless, bringing you closer to the heart of this extraordinary mountain range. Europe’s highest mountain station stands at 3,883 metres above sea level, where the overwhelming sense of vastness reigns supreme. A world of unforgettable experiences gathered under one iconic name: Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Surrounded by 38 peaks over 4,000 metres and 14 glaciers, the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise offers spectacular views across a world of snow and ice, creating unforgettable memories to take back to Breuil-Cervinia.
TREKKING
Più di 200 chilometri di sentieri creano una rete di passeggiate ai piedi del “più nobile scoglio di Europa”, il Cervino. From the 2,050 metres of the village to the peaks above 3,000 metres at Plateau Rosa, Cervinia offers trails for every kind of hiker — from high-altitude trekking routes to family-friendly paths, from challenging climbs to gentle walks with breathtaking views and minimal effort. The excursion to Cervinia’s Blue Lake, a picture-perfect alpine lake, is one of the area’s most popular and accessible routes. The trail to the lake starts from Breithorn Square and can be completed in around 30 minutes along a well-marked and safe path, free from exposed or dangerous sections. Another unforgettable panoramic experience is the Gran Balconata trail leading to Valtournenche: an 11-kilometre walk to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace over 5 to 6 hours, through ever-changing landscapes beneath the majestic Matterhorn.
E-BIKE & MTB
Cervinia and its surrounding area are a true paradise for cycling enthusiasts, offering a wide range of scenic routes suitable for every level of experience. Whatever your riding style, Valtournenche has the perfect trail for you — from easy cycle paths to off-road tracks and breathtaking panoramic routes. Cervinia is also home to the Cervino Bike Park, featuring over 100 km of trails designed for modern bikers, winding through high-altitude alpine meadows and alongside the eternal glaciers of Plateau Rosa. Its long downhill runs, technical bridges, wall rides and record-breaking descents also host Europe’s top riders each year during the famous MaxiAvalanche Enduro competition.
SUMMER SKIING
Thanks to the ski lifts departing directly from the centre of Cervinia, you can enjoy skiing even in summer in just over half an hour, surrounded by snow and pleasant temperatures. At 3,500 metres above sea level, Plateau Rosa guarantees excellent snow conditions and slopes for every skill level, including several easy and intermediate runs on the Swiss side of the resort. Between one run and the next, it’s not uncommon to spot world-class alpine ski champions training here for international competitions.
GOLF
Just 200 metres from Hotel Jumeaux, you can enjoy relaxing moments at Italy’s highest 18-hole golf course. Opened in 1955, the course features a 5,300-metre PAR 69 layout with 15 practice stations, some of them covered, stretching alongside the Marmore stream. In the background, stunning alpine scenery creates a striking contrast between the lush green fairways and the snow-capped peak of the Matterhorn. Throughout the season, from early June to the beginning of September, weekly golf clinics are organised, giving players of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to improve their technique under the guidance of experienced golf professionals.
